I think the only fair way ANet could start selling those BMPs in the Online Store now would be by offering the same deal again like they did before EotN release.

The offer didn't require you to purchase GWEN through the store. It was just a perfect timing to kill two birds with one stone for those who didn't care about the box. People who wanted to get the box got it and if they now wanted to get the BMP, they would just need to buy something else from the store. Twice as much money for ANet.
I can't see any players complaining about it either, because the weapons are so good looking. I think there would be a problem if the weapons were ugly and people would start to regret getting the bonus mission pack. Then players might complain "why do those people get a chance to choose to get it now and we had to decide earlier?"

Forgive my slight transgression but I just couldn't resist modding it (tengu shield on jora is sweet! it actually fits her in terms of size).

You know, I've been reading most of the posts in here, and it really bothers me that some people are saying that others are whining that they don't have it and it's their fault for missing the opportunity. In my case, and probably many others, I don't always have EXTRA MONEY lying around. I'm a college student. I have way too many bills, and not enough left for groceries, let alone spending a certain amount of money in a limited amount of time. Sometimes, you get stuck in a rut for awhile, and it takes time before you can spend that little bit of money you've saved on something for yourself. And believe me, most of my extra money has been spent on guild wars stuff. It's hard sometimes.

On another note:
I do get to watch my boyfriend play the BMP on his account though. So I still get to see it at least. I have to say that I truly enjoy the artwork in the books. It fits my style perfectly and it was well done in my opinion. Some of the new weapon skins are nice, and they were done beautifully as well. I think it's a good to see the game improving even more, although I thought it was great just the way it was. Now it just makes us have even higher hopes for GW2 ^___^

Charr Shield

My one thing I am curious about is maybe some of these "other" skills maybe will be skills in GW2? Like Saul's skills mainly like the ward and party run.

I was a college student too, but it was 29 dollars over a 4-5 month time

if you really wanted to that is like less than 6 dollars a month

hard to believe you didnt have that to spare, did you not go out once in 5 months?

anyway i said my piece i will now stop unless someone provokes me.

I personally dont mind if they do the promotion again, if it is the same.

No, I don't go out. I don't have the money to. And like I said, things do come up where you have to pinch and grind just to get by... Medical reasons, car wrecks, etc. I don't have to explain my situation in detail, but I do ask that the those, like yourself, just stop.

Well all I will say is i have a right to write my opinion just like you guys have a right to whine. When you whine you open yourself up to these types of comments. So if you dont want to explain yourself, since you made the statements, then dont make them.

how did you get that colored that way, are the gems naturally like that. I havent gotten that shield yet

Not trying to be mean,but if you got the game cool good for you heres a cookie! But if you didnt yea, I know theres a number of reasons you couldn't get it. But the fact of the matter remains,we will just have to wait and see,so just be happy with what you have for the time being and all will be fine ^_6

On topic, the BMP looks absolutely awesome, I'm really glad its the weekend now and I'll be spending a couple of hours earning a charr longbow for pyre

among other things.

Don't worry about it. People duping was knowingly exploiting a bug. Anet don't give content and then ban people for taking what they give them. Worrying it's a bug is like worrying that the /bonus weapons being recreated is a bug. It's not like it's going to make people rich

I've lived in the South and I know how it can be... the way commerce works down there... times can get really tough, and when I read that she couldn't afford it at the time of the promotion, I wished so much I had known then. It's too late now, but I'd gladly buy whatever I had to in the in-game store to get her the BMP. Her attitude is so honest, and she's honest about her feelings. She's not blaming ANet or any one else for her misfortune. She accepts that it is what it is.

I doubt there's a way, but if a way opens up to help guevera verreuil get the BMP, please PM me. People helped me out during tough times down there... I'd like to help guevera. Seriously.
